Last week, Coolgardie and Kambalda's youth celebrated winter with exciting Winter Parties. Held at the Coolgardie Community Recreation Facility on July 4th and the Kambalda Community Recreation Facility on July 5th, these events were filled with snowy delights, face painting with a zombie theme by Mellany from Lashique Boutique, thrilling games, and tasty sausage sizzles.
The Coolgardie event kicked off with a magical snowfall from a snow machine, transforming the venue into a winter wonderland. Mellany's artistic touch with the zombie theme added an eerie yet exciting vibe, turning participants into spooky zombies and other creepy characters.
Youthful laughter echoed as they competed in snowball tosses, relay races, and other lively games, fostering a spirited atmosphere of camaraderie. Delicious sausages grilled on the barbecue provided a tasty break, allowing everyone to refuel and share stories of their adventures.
Kambalda's party the next day continued the snowy fun with Mellany's creative face painting and more exciting games, creating a night of laughter and memorable moments. These events brought together the Youth of our beloved Shire, highlighting the joy of winter and the bonds of friendship in our communities.
As winter continues, the memories of these lively celebrations will linger, reminding us of the warmth found in shared experiences and the excitement of youth in embracing the season's magic. Here's to more winter fun ahead in Coolgardie and Kambalda!
