This year, the Town of Bassendean partnered with City of Bayswater to trial a collaborative approach to the delivery of Ranger Services outside of standard business hours and during busy periods. The trial initially ran between April and July 2024, but due to its success, it has been extended to 14 October 2024.
During the trial:
The Town of Bassendean Ranger Service will operate as usual (Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm) and will respond to all enquiries. The City of Bayswater Ranger Service will provide weekend support to members of the Bassendean community and will respond to urgent matters from 5pm Friday to 8:30 am Mondays, as required.Contact details for Ranger Services during the trial:

*Urgent matters include dog attacks, wandering dogs, or serious hazards (e.g. fallen trees on roads, hazardous parking). For non-urgent matters that arise on a weekend, please call the Town of Bassendean Ranger Service, and leave a message to receive a response during business hours.
Emergency Assistance If you require assistance with a life threatening or time critical matter, contact 000. For non-emergency police matters, call Police on 131 444. For fire, storm, or other natural disaster assistance, call the SES on 132 500.
