Free green waste weekend

Sunday, September 15, 2024, 7:30am – 5:45pm Make the most of our free green waste recycling event to ensure you correctly dispose of your household garden waste. Head to any of our four Resource Recovery Centres in Chandler, Nundah, Willawong and Ferny Grove on the weekend of the 14 and 15 of September 2024 to drop-off green waste.Acceptable green waste includes branches, palm fronds, weeds, tree and shrub prunings, loose bark and grass clippings.Outside of these dates, residents can use their waste vouchers or register for Council’s green waste recycling service.
