The Gannawarra Library Service is celebrating National Science Week with a free workshop at its Cohuna branch.
The service is partnering with twistED Science Echuca to host its renowned Bubblemania workshop on Wednesday, 7 August from 4.30pm.
“The Gannawarra Library Service is pleased to be joining universities, schools, research institutions, libraries, museums and science centres across Australia in hosting around 1,000 events across Australia during National Science Week, which runs from 10-18 August,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.
Suitable for children of all ages, this one-hour workshop will enable participants to make their own bubbleator and complete fun bubble sculpting challenges.
“Council thanks the National Science Week Community Seed Grant program for providing funding for this special event, with the Gannawarra Library Service one of 20 programs selected across Victoria to benefit from support,” Mr Rollinson said.
Places for this workshop are limited. For bookings, visit www.trybooking.com/CTVCQ. Alternatively, families can phone the Gannawarra Library Service on (03) 5452 1546 for assistance.
