Public notice: Blackwater Landfill closed due to fire

Please be advised that the Blackwater Landfill is temporarily closed due to a fire on the premises.

Please avoid the area to allow for emergency response teams to attend.

Alternative locations:

Domestic waste – Council will open the Bluff Transfer Station from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Commercial & domestic waste – Lochlees Landfill is open from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (weighbridge closing at 4.30 pm)

If you have any enquiries, please contact council on 1300 242 686. Council will update the community when Blackwater Landfill reopens.
