It’s Local Government Week

Through funding, Council regularly contributes to the growth and success of small businesses, individuals and community, sporting and educational groups to the Shire. Council supports positive outcomes that benefit the Shire and are consistent with the Council’s Community Strategic Plan.

Council provides opportunities for financial assistance under the following funding:

Public Donations by Council

Small Business Fund

Newly introduced, Event Partnership Funding Program

Individuals and community, sporting and educational groups wishing to apply for financial assistance from Moree Plains Shire Council for events, functions and sponsorship are to complete and submit a Public Donations Application Form to enable the application to be considered.
