Telstra Network Disruptions - Price (Eyre Highway, Caiguna)

Telstra will be upgrading its Price (Eyre Highway, Caiguna) mobile base station by installing new antennas on the mobile tower.
These improvements will temporarily impact Telstra mobile coverage from this site from 8th to 9th August 2024. Customers along the Eyre Highway between Caiguna and Balladonia (and surrounds) are likely to experience slower than usual data speeds. Every attempt will be made to keep the outages to a minimum.
8th and 9th August daily 4 hour outage between 0700 hours to 1700 hours: there will be a continuous outage of all mobile services from this site.Telstra mobile customers will receive text messages advising of the upcoming work.
Landline services, NBN internet services and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted. Any calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically be diverted to any working mobile network for connection to emergency services.
If all goes according to plan and weather permitting the mobile upgrade will be completed on the 9th August 2024.
