With the Bureau of Meteorology predicting possible heavy rain for south-east Queensland over the Redlands Coast long weekend, Redland City Council would like to remind residents there are two permanent sandbag stations at Capalaba and Redland Bay.

NOTE: Enclosed shoes must be worn at all Council sandbagging stations.
Permanent stations are open at the following locations:
Capalaba Regional Park car park: 13-19 Pittwin Road North, Capalaba. OPEN: 6am to 10pm dailyBayview Conservation Park Staging Area: 487-503 German Church Road, Redland Bay. OPEN: 6.30am to 6pm dailyIf conditions worsen, and Council opens sandbagging stations in other locations, the community will be advised.
