Wyndham City is calling for feedback on the new youth space at Possy Newland Reserve in Little River, where programs for young people will be held.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Jennie Barrera said the new youth space in Possy Newland Reserve will be developed with a grant from the State Government’s Tiny Towns Fund.
“It is expected that the new youth space will be installed near the basketball court,” she said.
“We will transform a six meter painted container into a dynamic youth space where the Youth Services team and other stakeholders will engage young people through sport and recreation activities.”
“The space will be furnished, and programs are expected to be delivered in conjunction with Wyndham's Street Surfer bus.”
“We invite the community to get involved, share their thoughts on the project and ideas on what programs and events could be delivered at the Youth Space.”
Attend a drop-in session at Possy Newland Reserve, Flinders Street, Little River and provide your feedback in person on Friday 23 August, 3:30-6pm.
