Mareeba Shire Council wishes to advise residents of a planned one lane closure at the Byrnes Street and Lloyd Street intersection in Mareeba.
The project will affect traffic movements on the northern end of Byrnes Street with the intersection reduced to one lane at night for approximately two (2) days with traffic control in place from 19 August to 20 August 2024.
The one lane closure at night for approximately two (2) days will allow for excavation of the road pavement for the installation of a new water main to support the growth in the northern side of Mareeba.
The project is grant funded by the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program.
