Hepburn Shire Council is thrilled to announce the launch of a newly updated visitor website - www.visithepburnshire.com.au

Mayor, Cr Brian Hood, said that the new website design brings a refreshed and modern look and feel, designed to be user friendly for both visitors and locals.

“Whether you are planning your first visit to the region, are a regular visitor or you’re a local looking for a new experience in your own backyard, there is something to offer for everyone,” said Cr Hood.

This comprehensive visitor website is a gateway to exploring everything the picturesque region has to offer, from stunning natural landscapes to rich cultural experiences.

Elements of the new website include:

Discover Attractions: Find detailed information on must-visit attractions, including historic landmarks, natural wonders and experiences for the whole family.

Plan Your Stay: Explore accommodation options ranging from cosy bed and breakfasts, camping and glamping to luxurious spa retreats. Our website makes it easy to find your preferred accommodation with direct links to their booking sites.

Local Events and Activities: Stay up to date with the latest events, festivals and activities and markets happening throughout the year. Whether you’re interested in art exhibitions, food and wine experiences, or outdoor adventures we have you covered.

Dining: Browse through a list of local eateries including cafes, pubs and restaurants, there is something to cater for every palate and price point. Discover the regions unique produce and flavours.

Shopping: Drop in to one of the many specialty shops and galleries or find yourself lost in treasures from the past.

Tours: Join a local and let them take you on a tour of the region, whether it be visiting a local winery, brewery or cidery or something historical, why not just sit back and let someone do the organising.

Indigenous culture – self-drive tour that takes people on an experience of important sites in the Dja Dja Wurrung landscape.

“If you’re here for relaxation, adventure, or exploration, our website will help you make the most of your visit,” said Cr Hood.

Local businesses that provide a visitor experience are promoted on the website via their listings with the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).  To find out more, businesses can contact the Visitor Information Centre by email [email protected] or phone on (03) 5321 6123.
