Telstra Network Disruptions - Balladonia (Eyre Highway)

Update: Change to proposed dates.
Telstra will be upgrading its mobile base station at Balladonia (Eyre Highway). These improvements will temporarily impact Telstra mobile coverage from this site from 11th September to 14th September 2024. Customers at Balladonia and surrounds are likely to experience slower than usual data speeds. Every attempt will be made to keep the outages to a minimum.
0700 hours 11th till 1900 hours 13th September: there will be a continuous outage of all mobile services from this site. 14th September between 0700 hours and 1700 hours 4 hour outages per sector: there will be disruption to mobile services from this site on the relevant sector.Telstra mobile customers will receive text messages advising of the upcoming work.
Landline services, NBN internet services and mobile coverage from other providers will not be impacted. Any calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically be diverted to any working mobile network for connection to emergency services.
If all goes according to plan and weather permitting the mobile upgrade will be completed on the 14h September 2024.
