The Town of Bassendean has published updated FAQs regarding our cat trapping service, which is available to residents experiencing nuisance issues with stray or roaming cats. The service offers a humane solution, ensuring that captured cats are safely transferred to an Animal Care Facility.

The Town subsidises this service, with a nominal fee of $40 for trap hire, as set by the Council in June 2024. The FAQs provide detailed information about the costs involved, the care of trapped cats, and the rationale behind the introduction of the fee.
