Storytime with Lisa Holt at the Emerald Library!

This week at the Emerald Library, council celebrated Book Week with a special Storytime reading from Author Lisa Holt, where many eager children and parents came to listen.

Lisa also enjoyed a morning full of dancing, singing, colouring, and of course, reading!

The story, ‘Dally and Dash Go To The Bush’, recognises the pairs very first adventure in the Australian bush!

Lisa was born in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, and now calls Queensland her home. With her love for Australian flora, fauana and her own fur babies, the idea for her debut picture book was born. Encouraged by her husband, her daughters and her imagination, Dally and Dash were created.

First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
