The National Anzac Centre, located on the picturesque shores of King George Sound, has been recognised for its outstanding contribution to preserving and sharing the Anzac legacy.

As one of Australia’s most important cultural institutions, the Centre offers an immersive experience that honours the men and women who served during the First World War, attracting both local and international visitors.

“The National Anzac Centre continues to be a top destination for those wanting to connect with our history and heritage, and this acknowledgment is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the community's support.

“As a regional tourist destination, the National Anzac Centre not only draws visitors from across the country and around the world but also plays a crucial role in supporting our local economy and fostering a deep sense of community pride in Albany.”
