Nominations for the Auspire Community Citizen of the Year 2025 Are Now Open!
Each year, the Community Citizen of the Year Awards provide local governments across the state with a special chance to recognise and celebrate those who contribute to the vibrancy and spirit of their communities.
This is our moment to Reflect, Respect, and Celebrate the incredible efforts that make Western Australia such a unique place. We all play a part in this shared story.
Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to enhance our Shire? Or perhaps a community group that has a significant impact, making the Shire of Dundas an extraordinary place to live? Now is the time to nominate these exceptional contributors and ensure they receive the recognition they truly deserve for their dedication and hard work.
There are four categories open for nomination:
Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals over 16 years) Young Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 16-30 years) Senior Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 65 years or over) Active Citizenship Award (for community groups or events)Nominations are open until the 31st of October, giving you ample time to spotlight the next Shire of Dundas Citizen of the Year or group that makes our community shine.

Additionally, hard copies of the nomination forms are available at the Shire of Dundas Administration building. Let's unite in celebrating the outstanding individuals and groups who make our community exceptional!
