Following the endorsement at July’s Council Meeting, the Business Assistance Grant has been updated to further stimulate Boddington’s economy and support the community's aspirations for greater prosperity. Applications are accepted year-round, and small to medium-sized businesses can now apply for up to $5,000 in funding on a 50-50 basis. This funding can be used for projects related to shopfront improvement, crime prevention, or place activation.
Shire President, Garry Ventris recently met with Jessica Staggard from Food Boss Diner, as well as Cassidy McGuire and Gavin McGuire from Koormal Mining Services (trading as Bodmec Maintenance Solutions), to discuss the impact of the Business Assistance Grant. Gavin McGuire praised the updated program, stating, "We are grateful for the Shire’s generous support of local businesses through their Business Assistance Grant. Opportunities like these help us to enhance the safety, beauty, and prosperity of our community and make Boddington a great place to live, work, and play."
For more information about the Business Assistance Grant, please visit the Grants page on the Shire’s website. Potential applicants are encouraged to contact the Shire’s Community and Economic Development team for further assistance.
