In accordance with regulation 12(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, notice is given that a Special Meeting of Council is to be held on Monday 9 September 2024 in the Council Chamber, City of Rockingham, Administration Building, Civic Boulevard, Rockingham, commencing at 5pm.
The purpose of the meeting is for Council to consider a revised closure order for the East Rockingham Pioneer Cemetery to resolve:
For an urgent need to allow a specific burial; andThe closure order to address a general resolution to the ongoing need to allow limited burials in specific and special circumstances.The meeting is open to the public and there will be public question time, but only in relation to the above purpose.
