GREEN WASTE DISPOSAL SUPPORT

The Council will be providing support to those cleaning up after the recent storm event and will be accepting green waste loads free of charge at the Resource Recovery Centre, Lobster Creek Road until this Sunday.   **Normal fees will apply to commercial customers.

For those residents and businesses in our community who have experienced extended power losses and have an excess of spoilt food, please note that this can be disposed of free of charge at the Resource Recovery Centre, Lobster Creek Road during the period mentioned below.

Food can remain in plastic or cardboard packaging.   The Council would like to thank Dulverton Waste Management for providing and coordinating the additional service for larger amounts of food wastage.

Should you have a smaller amount of food wastage, a reminder that this can be placed in your FOGO bin WITHOUT packaging, along with any small tree branches.

The Resource Recovery Centre will be accepting the above items until Sunday 8 September.  Operating hours are:

9am-5pm Monday-Friday 10am-5pm Saturday-Sunday
