The Central Coast Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead, inspire, and manage our community-focused services in line with Council priorities and community needs. 

This position is responsible for the successful management and leadership of the Community Development Team to deliver services, projects and initiatives to enhance community life in the Central Coast.  This includes the management of community facilities, cemeteries and the Council’s aged persons units, delivery and support of local events, implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives, and the operations of sport and recreation facilities. 

Essential:  Demonstrated leadership and management experience with proven capacity to lead and motivate high performing teams and the ability to plan and implement projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including risk management, budgeting, and reporting. 

Salary and conditions:  Full-time fixed term (two years) position.  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Executive Officer Level $116,494 – $125,258.
