Exploring Emotions Through Play: A Joyful Day at Beverly Pack's Messy Play Event

Today’s Messy Play event, led by Beverly Pack, was a delightful exploration of emotions through sensory activities. We welcomed 29 attendees who enthusiastically engaged in a variety of creative ands interactive experiences.

Highlights of the event included:

Balloon Faces: Participants inflated their balloons and crafted personalized faces, adding a touch of individuality to their creations. Spoon People: Attendees drew faces on spoons and added arms, creating charming little characters. Rice Pit Fun: A sensory exploration in a rice pit allowed everyone to immerse themselves in a tactile experience. Straw Painting: Using straws to blow paint onto paper provided a unique way to express creativity. Emotion Pairs Game: An engaging game that helped participants learn about and identify different emotions. Emotion Cookies: Participants enjoyed decorating cookies while discussing various feelings. Bubble Blowing: An enjoyable activity that delighted everyone, creating a sense of wonder and joy. Story Time: A calming end to the event with a story that reinforced the theme of emotions.
