Creativity on Display at 2024 Local Schools Art Exhibition

The Town of Cambridge was delighted to host over 100 students and their families at the 2024 Local Schools Art Exhibition opening night on Wednesday, 4 September. Each year, this event provides a platform for young, aspiring artists to showcase their talent, with the Town proudly supporting their creative development.

The exhibition fosters creativity and allows students to display their artworks publicly. A panel of elected members, local artists, and art enthusiasts judged the work. Tayla, a talented Year 5 student from Holy Spirit Primary School, was awarded the prestigious overall exhibition prize.

The success of this exhibition was made possible by the participation of students and their dedicated art teachers from Bold Park Community School, Lake Monger Primary School, West Leederville Primary School, Wembley Primary School, Floreat Park Primary School, Holy Spirit Primary School, and Kapinara Primary School.
