Vote For Your Favourite Local Businesses in the 2024 People’s Choice Award

Ararat Rural City residents are encouraged to show support for their favourite local businesses by voting in the upcoming 2024 People’s Choice Award. 

Nominations for these awards open on Monday 16 September 2024 and are an award category of the 2024 East Grampians Business Awards, which highlight the local business community and recognise driven and successful businesses across the municipality.  

The winner is determined by Ararat Rural City residents via online voting and will receive an advertising package valued at $2,000 for advertising across MixxFM, Ace Radio and The Weekly Advertiser. Residents can vote for up to three of their favourite local businesses.

“The People’s Choice Award is a great way for the community to show their support for our local businesses. It also provides the winner with the opportunity to explore new possibilities and generate exposure for their business” said Ararat Rural Council CEO Dr Tim Harrison.

“This award aims to build stronger connections within the local business community, support local employment, and contribute to the overall economic health of our region” he said. 

The People’s Choice Award is run by Ararat Rural City Council in partnership with MixxFM, Ace Radio and The Weekly Advertiser.

Residents can cast their votes for any business, small or large, rural or CBD-based, operating within the Ararat Rural City municipality. 

Voting opens on Monday 16 September 2024 and closes 13 October 2024.
