Small businesses and entrepreneurs are being invited to activate at some of Fremantle’s coastal hotspots this summer.
An expression of interest process is now open and the City of Fremantle will be awarding six-month summer trading permits for leisure and tourism-focused ventures that are aligned with the seasonal trading guiding principles.
There are seven locations at South Beach, Bathers Beach, Port and Leighton Beaches and near the WA Shipwrecks Museum that the City is looking to invigorate with new seasonal attractions.
The new ventures must meet certain criteria including being environmentally sustainable, complement Fremantle’s character, fill a gap in the market and not compete with established businesses.
Summer trading dates are from 1 November 2024 to 30 April 2025.
The EOI process opens today and closes on Friday 27 September 2024.
