North East Food and Wine Festival returns for 2024!

In good news for foodies from across the Border and North East Region, the North East Food and Wine Festival is back for 2024!

Eat, experience and explore the best of our region over a three day program that will fire up your senses.

On Friday, eat your way through a handpicked selection of culinary events to delight the senses. From degustation’s, to wine pairing, river feasting and a date night, it’s the ultimate Friday night out.

Experience live music and offerings from more than 50 stallholders at Saturday’s Main Event in Junction Square. Enjoy sipping regional wines and an expansive food menu, all against a backdrop of live local talent.

Sunday is for exploring, with some of your favourite local creators inviting you behind the scenes to learn more about their operation. Think pizza making, a brewery tour and a chardonnay masterclass.

Matt Soroczynski, Team Leader Events at Wodonga Council, said this year’s jam-packed program is shaping up to be one of the festivals best yet.

“The North East Food and Wine Festival is back for its 10th year and the 2024 program offers a full spectrum of experiences,” he said.

“Our region is overflowing with talent – be it our local winemakers, musicians or foodies.

“In developing this year’s program, we wanted to celebrate both the variety and vibrancy of the Border and North East region; show that there really is something for everyone.”
