Oaklands Medical Centre Official Opening

Federation Council is very pleased to invite you to the official opening of the Oaklands Medical Centre.

Date: Friday 27 September, 2024 Time: 11am for 11:30am official opening Location: Oaklands Medical Centre, 2 Hunter Street Oaklands

This project was the result of funding from a NSW Government Stronger Communities Grant and Federation Council, and is a great success story!

Local GP, Dr Veerendra Yaramati, (Dr Giri) and his dedicated staff will be operating the centre under lease from Federation Council. Dr Giri and his team have operated the Urana Medical Centre very successfully for over 12 years and they are now looking forward to expanding their great services to the Oaklands Medical Centre.

The project involved extensively upgrading the former dwelling to convert it to an accredited Medical Centre, designed by Regional Design Service Corowa, with the construction work delivered by Kennedy Builders Mulwala, and project managed by Council.

Light refreshments will be provided after the opening and we encourage people to come and celebrate this important new health service for Oaklands and the surrounding region.
