Road works update: September

Below are the road works projects that have commenced or are scheduled over the next month.

Grading maintenance works:

South: Birraban Road, Cona Creek Road, Fairview Road, Palmgrove Road, Rosebank Road, Wanatta Road.

Central: Birtley Road, Callistemon Road, Cuddies Road, Echo Hills Road, Glenlee Road, Hillview Access Road, Jo Jo Road, Lochington Road, Olivevale Road – reactive maintenance, Springton Road – reactive maintenance, Wurba Road, Wyntoon Road – reactive maintenance.

North: Annamore Road, Cattle Creek Road, Reklaw Road, Tomahawk Creek Road.

East: Arizona Road, Conciliation Creek Road, Coreen Road, Eight Mile Road, Fingers Road, Glen Elgin Road, Glendara Road, Karramarra Road, Namoi Road, Oaklea Road, Oombabeer Connection Road, Oombabeer Road, Parkes Road, Pearl Creek Road, Pine Grove Road, Raby Creek Road, Red Hill Road, Redbank Road, Redrock Park Road, Ruddlea Road, Sanders Road, Simmonds Road, Spring Hill Road, Tackeracka Road, Willies Creek Royles Road.

Ongoing Construction Projects:

South: 85A Fitzroy Development Road.

Central: Mayfair Estate Rehabilitation – Pathways 50%, Withersfield Road bridge – Deck works 80% complete.

Isolated Stormwater Rectification Works:

Powel and Robert Street intersection – Yet to commence. Borilla Street from Westpac Bank to Dunning Lane – 5% complete Esmond Street – 50% complete. Borilla Street Centre Parking between the Kebab Shop and Emerald How Brew Supplies – 50% complete

Isolated Pathway Rectification Works:

Gregory Highway adjacent to Emerald Christian College: Remove the bend out of the pathway to have a straight continuous pathway – Scheduled for school holidays. Gregory Highway and Mayfair Drive: Construct a safe crossing point to cross Mayfair Drive – Yet to commence. Scant Street between the Oom fuel station and KFC: Construction of a break in the refuge island so pedestrians can safely cross Scant Street – Yet to commence. Brief Street between Morton Park and Toyota: Interconnect pathway that covers outside perimeter of Morton Park to pathway crossing over drain instead of road crossing – Yet to commence.

North: German Creek Crossing – Batter works 95% complete.

East: Doon Street, Blackwater: Asphalt surfacing, kerb and channel, pathway works and installation of parking bays – Asphalt schedule 16/09
