The artwork plays with fortune cookie traditions, returning to a homemade process as initially employed by Japanese and Chinese Americans before the invention of the fortune cookie machine in 1974, but rather than using dough, the artist uses polymer clay and paper to create an inedible and yet lasting gift that can be treasured or passed on to others.About NyxNyx is an Australian artist whose predominant medium is language.
