MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE – GARDENS

The Council has a great opportunity for a Municipal Employee – Gardens to join the Infrastructure Services team.  This position is responsible for maintaining the Council’s public open spaces, including lawn maintenance, planting, fertilising and weeding.  

They will join a collaborative and supportive team to play a crucial role in ensuring the public open spaces within the Central Coast are attractive, safe and a pleasant environment for all users.  

With the Council having recently embarked on a cultural journey, where the focus is on the wellbeing of our people and the sustainable growth of our community, there has never been a more exciting time to join our team.  

Essential: Experience in all facets of the maintenance of works in open space areas, e.g. planting, weeding, fertilising, mulching of gardens, maintenance including pruning of trees and shrubs and maintenance of lawns. 

Salary and conditions: Full-time position (9-day fortnight roster).  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Municipal Employee Level $63,564 – $66,139.
