Pack the picnic blanket and join in all the fun as the greatest family outdoor event in the west, the Children’s Week Picnic, returns next month!
This much-loved Wyndham City event will be held on Sunday 27 October at Werribee Park, 10am – 4pm.
Tickets for this free event are essential and will be available online from 9am, Monday 7 October and families are encouraged to plan ahead and pre-book their tickets.
Children’s Week Picnic is all about trying something new, with opportunities for children to learn new skills and have some fun with music, games, sport and workshops.
This year’s event will feature a fantastic new line-up of performances and interactive activities including high energy, family favourites Jugg Life, TikTok sensation Lenny Pearce, Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle, Whistle and Trick and the world premiere of Snow Globe – a magical new experience full of music, dance and adventure.
The Active Kids Zone returns with a huge range of sporting activities to try, along with hands-on arts and craft in the See Make Play marquee and a new Little Bubs zone with soft and messy play areas for the littlies.
The program will include opportunities to connect with Council services, including the popular mini–Traffic School and Wyndham City’s Youth Services Street Surfer Bus.
Families will also be able to enjoy a delicious lunch from the onsite food trucks or pack a picnic to enjoy on the lawns.
Bookings are essential for this event and ticketholders who can no longer attend are asked to cancel their booking so that other families can enjoy the experience.
