Town-led Floreat Precinct Structure Plan Available for Public Comment

The Town of Cambridge is delighted to announce that the Town and community led draft Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) for the Floreat Activity Centre is open for public comment until 4 November 2024. The Council approved the draft PSP for advertising at a Special Council Meeting on 5 September.

The draft PSP is available for viewing on the Town of Cambridge website and hard copies are available for viewing at the Town’s Administration Centre (1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat) or Cambridge Library (99 The Boulevard, Floreat).  

Community members are encouraged to make a submission during the consultation period and build upon the shared aspirations for the Floreat Activity Centre. Formal submissions will support the Town in finalising a PSP that reflects the values and needs of the current and future Floreat community. 

“I encourage anyone who lives, shops, plays sport or visits the Floreat area to participate in the consultation and provide us your feedback. This plan has been developed based on what our community have told us is important to them for the future of Floreat,” Deputy Mayor Ben Mayes said. 

“I would also like to thank the Community Working Group for their diligence in assisting the Town and its consultants to prepare the draft PSP. This plan is truly a reflection of the community’s aspirations for sensible development in the area.”

Community feedback can be provided online via the Town’s website while paper forms are available at Cambridge Library and the Town’s Administration Centre.  

To support the community with providing feedback, the Town will host a series of drop-in sessions. These sessions will allow community members to discuss key elements of the PSP with project members.  

The drop-in sessions will be held at the Boulevard Centre (below Cambridge Library) on the following dates and times:
