Edward River Council Successful Recount

Following a successful request by a candidate at September’s local government election for a recount due to a very close election result.  The NSW Electoral Commission has now completed the recount resulting in no change to the elected candidates.

The successful Edward River Council Candidates, in alphabetical order are Ken Bates, Shirlee Burge, Kellie Crossley, Craig Druitt, Linda Fawns, Ashley Hall, Leanne Mulham, Shannon Sampson and Frank Schofield.

Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr Gary Arnold, welcomes the successful candidates and has set an Extraordinary Council Meeting for Tuesday 15 October 2024 at 5pm for them to take the Oath or Affirmation of Office and be installed as the new Council.
