Children encouraged to unwrap their creativity to design Christmas eCard

Kids, it is time to unwrap your creativity and design the ultimate Christmas eCard.

It is that time of year when youngsters from across the city are asked to channel the festive spirit, get creative and design Council’s official Christmas greeting.

You could also win a special meet-and-greet with Kevin and Stuart Minion and help light up the Esplanade Lagoon’s Christmas tree on 1 December.

This year’s theme is “bubbles, baubles and bows” and the competition is open to children in the Cairns region aged 13 years and under in three categories:

The overall winning design will be turned into this year’s Council eCard, which will be used to send season greetings across the country and around the world.

Entries for the Christmas eCard competition close on Friday 15 November at 5.30pm.
