The Shire of Boddington is taking a significant step toward addressing local housing needs with the formation of a Housing Strategy Reference Group. The Group is set to include Councillors to represent community priorities, along with industry and business representatives.
The Reference Group will focus on increasing housing availability within Boddington’s townsite, including considering the opportunities for additional independent living units, affordable housing, and key worker housing. These initiatives aim to support sustainable development and population growth, guiding housing projects in alignment with the Shire's vision for the community.
The Shire is seeking a member of Boddington’s business community to join the group, bringing valuable insights into the local housing landscape. Participation offers an opportunity to contribute ideas, review project information, and help shape priority outcomes.
