The Town of Cambridge, in partnership with the RSL Cambridge Sub-Branch, held a reflective Remembrance Day memorial service on 11 November 2024, marking the anniversary of the 1918 Armistice that ended World War I.
Community members gathered to honour those who served and sacrificed in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions.
Mayor Gary Mack, Kate Chaney MP, Mrs Elise Jarman, and City Beach Primary School (representing the RSL Cambridge Sub-Branch) laid wreaths in tribute, joined by Councillors Gavin Foley, Kate Barlow, and Michael Le Page.
It was a poignant occasion that highlighted the importance of remembering all who have sacrificed.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the Town’s commitment to honouring service and fostering respect for history.
