Appointment of Councillor - Ljirapinta Ward

MacDonnell Regional Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Maryanne Malbunka as a Councillor for the Ljirapinta Ward......

Ms Malbunka is a local Western Arrernte woman residing in Hermannsburg. She is a dedicated member of her community with proven leadership and advocacy skills which have been utilised on the numerous boards and committees of which she has been a member. She is a strong mentor for the young women of her community. Council looks forward to welcoming Ms Malbunka at the December meeting.
