The Strand Dog Off-leash Park now open!

Tails are set to wag with The Strand Dog Off-Leash Park in Point Cook now open.

Situated in The Strand and Boardwalk Boulevard in Point Cook, this new park features a dedicated off-leash area, a spacious lawn for dogs to play, and an agility equipped activity space.

Other features include a drinking fountain, new concrete path, seating, dog litter bag dispenser and bins.

Wyndham City Mayor, Mia Shaw, said the new dog haven will become an asset to the residents of Point Cook.  

“This park has been designed with care to ensure that every dog has the freedom to run, play and socialise,” said Cr Shaw.

“At Wyndham City, we’re always striving to create better community connections and this new dog park is a shining example of that.”

“I’m glad to see the residents of Point Cook and their beloved pets enjoying this open space.”

“This project is being delivered as part of the Wyndham Dog Off-Leash Plan 2022 and Wyndham’s Open Space Strategy, both of which strive to provide accessible and well-connected open spaces for families and their pets.”
