The Hobart City Council Planning Authority Committee has approved a development application for a boundary adjustment for 100 King Street, Sandy Bay.
The proposal was for a minor boundary adjustment and did not receive any representations during the advertising period.

327 Argyle Street, North Hobart
The Hobart City Council Planning Authority committee has approved a development application for variation to operating hours, new outdoor dining area, fencing and signage at 327 Argyle Street, North Hobart.
The approval allows an extension of the operating hours and use of a 100m² external laneway for outdoor dining. Additionally, two signs featuring "Waggon" graphics on the gates were approved.
1 Bell Street, New Town
The Hobart City Council Planning Authority committee has approved a development application for a new building for community meeting and entertainment, and associated carparking and access at 1 Bell Street, New Town.
The proposal includes building a "community shed" with 26 car parking spaces, including two accessible spaces, and five bike parking spaces. Access will be via the existing Queens Walk entrance, with bollard lighting for security. It includes wall sign on the building's northern wall, landscaping, a gazebo, and a community garden near the Brooker Highway boundary. A shipping container for additional storage is also proposed next to the building.

Between Hobart City Council Planning Authority Committee meetings, the City's Planning Officers are busy reviewing a range of residential and commercial development applications for Hobart.
Since the last meeting, 25 development applications delegated to council officers were also approved while 33 development applications are currently being advertised.
A reminder that the Council has a planner on duty during office hours which members of the community can call through our Customer Services to check to see whether any development or work to a garden will require planning approval.
