Circular Organics project kicks off with field trip

Published on 12 December 2024

Council's Circular Economy team kicked off the innovative Circular Organics project on 29 November with a field trip to the Creswick Transfer Station, Creswick Avenue of Honour and Kia Pastoral farm in Seymour. Watch this fantastic little film shot on the day by FarFlung Films for an overview of the project - a scientific trial and education campaign aimed at ensuring the highest value end-use of the compost we generate from kerbside collections.

Find out more and stay tuned for project updates on the project webpage Circular Organics Hepburn Shire Council and join our learning journey as we experiment to make the best, living compost to support soil and tree health in our Parks and Open Spaces. This project is one of eight supported by the Circular Economy Organics Council Fund delivered by Sustainability Victoria under the Victorian Government’s circular economy policy, Recycling Victoria: a new economy.
