Creating Community Connections Expo 2025 – Be Part of the Celebration

Published on 15 December 2024

The Benalla and District Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG) is gearing up for an exciting and inclusive event – the Creating Community Connections Expo 2025, set to take place on Friday 21 February 2025, at the Benalla Showgrounds and Lakeside Community Centre from 3pm to 7pm.

This free, family-friendly event offers a unique platform for local community groups, organisations, and residents to come together, share their passions, and foster meaningful connections. The Expo will feature a variety of stalls, interactive activities, and live entertainment, making it a dynamic and fun-filled afternoon for attendees of all ages.

Community groups and organisations are encouraged to participate by showcasing their work, engaging with others, and inspiring collaboration.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for stallholders are open now and will close on Sunday 9 February 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight your group’s contributions and connect with others in a meaningful way.

“The Creating Community Connections Expo is all about celebrating the strength and vibrancy of our local community,” Benalla Rural City Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn said.

“It’s an invitation for everyone to join in, connect, and enjoy what makes Benalla special – our shared sense of belonging and collaboration.”
