The Shire of Boddington hosted the annual Community Christmas Celebrations on Friday 6 December 2024.
The evening was enjoyed by all - with a large range of activities for the kids, including water slides, an obstacle course, laser tag, a dunk tank, the Lions Club train, arts and crafts, facepainting, live action role play characters and a visit from Santa himself! Attendees were entertained with a wonderful performance by the Boddington District High School Choir and live Christmas carols performed by Linda Howlett. With a variety of market stalls to browse for Christmas decor, gifts and real life Christmas trees, there was something for everyone!
A big thank you to the local community groups that contributed to putting the event together - Boddington Lion's Club for the sausage sizzle, Boddington Playgroup for the biscuit decorating, Boddington Bushfire Brigade for the water activities and Boddington Family Support Group for the colouring competition - your efforts are greatly appreciated.
