RESERVE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT (RUBBISH) PURPOSES R1146 BEING LOT 858 ON NR7516 ROIKO ROAD, MAREEBA DRAFT LAND MANAGEMENT PLAN
Mareeba Shire Council has developed a draft Land Management Plan for Reserve for Local Government (Rubbish) Purposes R1146 being Lot 858 on NR7516, situated at Roiko Road, Mareeba.
The Land Management Plan describes the existing uses and infrastructure located on the Reserve and set out the Council’s intentions, as Trustee of the Reserve, with respect to management of the land according to its gazetted use and in accordance with the provisions of the Mareeba Shire Planning Scheme.
The Land Management Plan provides for the continued activity on the Reserve of a mountain bike park with extensive bike trails and skills practice area by the Mareeba Mountain Goats Inc Mountain Bike Club.
The draft plan is open for public comment for a period of 28 days and can be accessed via Council’s website below.
A copy of the document is also available at Mareeba and Kuranda Libraries.
Submissions in relation to the draft plan will close at 5.00PM on Wednesday 5 February 2025 and should be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Mareeba Shire Council, PO BOX 154 Mareeba Queensland 4880.
