Public Notice: Seeking EOI’s – Real Estate Agents and Auctioneers Approved Contractor List

Central Highlands Regional Council (Council) is currently seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) from Real Estate Agents and Auctioneers interested in joining an “Approved Contractor List” for the provision of real estate services to council.  

Establishing an “Approved Contractor List” under the Local Government Regulation 2012 is intended to simplify the engagement of real estate agents and auctioneers when council wishes to procure real estate services such as property marketing or sales assistance.  

To submit an expression of interest to join this Approved Contractor List, please provide the following details via email addressed to [email protected] on or before 5.00 pm on 2 February 2025:  

Your company / individual contact information for details  Confirmation of your current real estate licencing   Your current rates for services offered (e.g, commission rates, marketing rates etc) – noting that these will not be fixed (and can be negotiated by either party if and when services are required)   If available, your capability statement (or similar) to perform the services offered.  

Persons will be chosen for inclusion on the Approved Contractor List based on the sound contracting principles set out in Section 104 of the Local Government Act 2009, being: value for money, open & effective competition, the development of competitive local business and industry, environmental protection and ethical behaviour and fair dealing.  

Please note that any inclusion on the Approved Contractor List will not constitute any guarantee of being engaged by council to provide any services.
