Celebrate Australia Day at the Rockingham Beach Foreshore

See Bluey and her little sister Bingo during their Live Interactive Experience. Catch this adorable duo on the main stage for two performances at 5.30pm and 6.45pm. Get ready to play Magic Asparagus, Magic Xylophone, Keepy Uppy and more with your favourite Heelers.

Other entertainment includes Diamond Road five-piece band performing covers of favourite hits, boot scooting, Bindjareb Middars dance troupe, Breakthrough Music Competition contender First Offence, and much more.

The evening climaxes with a spectacular fireworks display over the waters of Cockburn Sound at 8.30pm. 

Bring a picnic or grab something from the wide range of food trucks and local food businesses along Rockingham Foreshore.

There will be limited additional parking available at the Village Green, and additional Transperth services will be running on route 555 until 9.30pm.

In the morning of Australia Day the Gary Holland Community Centre will host the City’s Citizenship Ceremony welcoming more than 80 conferees, and the presentation of the Community Citizen of the Year Awards.

Mayor Deb Hamblin said: “Our Australia Day event is an opportunity for everyone to come together to celebrate what we love about our country and our community. I’m looking forward to seeing a big crowd at the foreshore enjoying a great day in a beautiful location.”

Celebrate Australia Day is part of our Summer Series of free-entry, family-friendly events which connect our community in fun, outdoor activities during summer. Visitors are encouraged not to smoke, vape or drink alcohol at all Summer Series events.
