Friday, February 28, 2025, 9am – 4pm The “Essays in Light” exhibition showcases the artistry of ten photographers from the Fine Monochrome Print Group, each presenting a thematic series of fine art prints that dive into subjects as varied as architecture, landscapes, figure studies, flora, portraits, and still life. Each portfolio reveals a distinct creative perspective, capturing the depth and beauty of photography. The exhibition explores photography as fine art, emphasizing both the allure of traditional methods and the dynamic possibilities of digital techniques. Photographic approaches range from handcrafted Platinum/Palladium and silver gelatin prints to contemporary digital work, highlighting how these techniques complement and enrich each other. Our hope is to inspire a deeper appreciation for the versatility of fine art photography and to show how these evolving techniques continue to shape and redefine the art form’s future.
