Cooking Up Community: A Fun Fried Rice Feast in Kambalda

On Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, a group of enthusiastic cooks of all ages gathered in the Kambalda Community Recreation Centre for a special activity, fried rice making in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Together, participants rolled up their sleeves and got to work preparing the delicious homemade meal. With fresh vegetables to chop, slice, and shred, plus rice and eggs to cook to perfection, everyone played a part in creating a flavourful meal to enjoy together.
Judging by the second and third helpings had by the kids we would give that a 'five out of five' on the Master Chef scale.
Beyond the kitchen skills learned, this event was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share laughs, and enjoy great company.
