New T-junction rules: The Esplanade and Channel Highway/Flood Road, Huonville

We would like to advise the community about changed traffic conditions at the new intersection where Channel Highway/Flood Road meets The Esplanade.

Coming from The Esplanade:

• Must give way to ALL Channel Highway/Flood Road traffic

• When turning left: Give way to traffic from Cygnet

• When turning right: Give way to ALL traffic on Channel Highway/Flood Road

On Channel Highway/Flood Road:

• Have right of way over vehicles from The Esplanade

• If turning right into The Esplanade: Give way to oncoming traffic

Drive safely and please be patient while everyone adjusts to these changes.
