Wilson Park overflow parking now closed

The overflow parking area on Wilson Park at South Beach has now been closed. The park will now return to its intended use as a public reserve, which will allow the turf to recover.
As announced in mid-December, the overflow parking was made available only on weekends during the summer school holidays. This arrangement was put in place in response to residents’ concerns regarding the damage to the turf from overuse.
South Beach visitors parking is available at the following locations: South Beach main carpark (4 hours free parking with ticket, 285 bays) Marine Tce carpark (opposite Running with Thieves brewery) and at Dog Beach carpark (120 bays) Marine Tce street parking (105 bays)
