Join the free family fun at Lollypop Creek Community Centre’s Open Day in Werribee on Saturday 1 March.
The open day gives locals the opportunity to find out more about the programs and services that are available at the centre.
They can also chat about programs they may like to see run or discuss activities they are interested in leading.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Mia Shaw said the day was a wonderful way for locals to come together and enjoy the sense of community offered in this growing area of Wyndham.
“The more opportunities our community has to come together, the stronger the sense of community they will share," she said.
“Our Lollypop Creek Community Centre was built mid last year and we look forward to it becoming a hub of activity where locals can learn, meet new friends and grow the wonderful community spirit that Wyndham City is known for.”
Iramoo Ward Councillor, Maria King, echoed the importance of the open day, noting: “The community centre currently offers Maternal & Child Health Services, Playgroups, Rhyme Time and other programs aimed at boosting health, fitness, education and meaningful community engagement.”
“Come along and tell us about the additional programs and services you’d like to see delivered at the centre and don’t be shy, put up your hand if you’re interested in running an activity.”
