The Council has endorsed an exciting new project to showcase Boddington's local history by relocating and displaying the historic roller. The roller will be moved to a public-facing location on the east side of the Old Roads Board building. A protective shelter will be constructed, and interpretive signage will be installed to provide visitors with insights into the roller's role in local roadworks history.

The roller and the existing grader will both undergo a restoration. A custom-designed shelter matching the heritage style of the Roads Board building will protect the roller from the elements. Accessible pathways will ensure all can enjoy the display. Informative signage will share the roller’s story.This project celebrates Boddingtons rich history and provides a new point of interest for residents and tourists.
